Unspoken Realities of Womanhood: Introducing The Feminine Forum
In our teens, many of us had “the talk”.
In our teens, many of us had “the talk” — a first step into understanding our changing bodies. But the unspoken realities of womanhood often begin long after that, in the form of hormonal shifts, unexplained acne, and deeper emotional loads.
You might remember it well: sitting with a trusted adult or older friend, awkwardly navigating the mysteries of periods, pads, breakouts, moods, and what to expect when your body decides to change without warning.
It was personal, often a bit uncomfortable, but strangely comforting. Someone was guiding you through something unfamiliar.

But at some point, the talking stopped.
No one pulled us aside to chat about perimenopause and why you suddenly can’t sleep through the night. No one warned us that acne could come back with a vengeance in your 30s, or that sex might feel different (and not in the way Instagram wellness pages suggest). No one told us that endometriosis doesn’t just affect your cycle – it can affect your career, your skin, your mental health, and your relationships.
We’re expected to quietly adjust, figure it out on our own, or worst of all, pretend nothing’s changed.
But things have changed. And they deserve to be talked about.
That’s why we’re introducing The Feminine Forum, a monthly space to explore the very real, often unspoken experiences of womanhood.
Not from a place of fear or shame, but with honesty, science, and a good dose of
“oh my god, same.”
Here, you’ll hear from experts in women’s health: naturopaths, skin therapists, doctors, and specialists, alongside everyday women, professionals, and business owners. Together, they’ll share stories and insights that too often go unnoticed, or were once told to be swept under the carpet.
We’ll cover the shifts happening under the surface, from hormones to skin health to the mental and emotional load we carry. No judgement. Just grounded, practical insights you can use, and stories that might help you feel a little less alone.

What You Can Expect:
Skin Health Across Ages
Our skin reflects what’s happening internally, and as hormones shift, so does skin behaviour. We’ll explore how menopause, pregnancy, post-pill, PCOS, or even monthly cycles affect the skin. Think breakouts, dryness, sensitivity, and what works.
Whole Body Wellness
We’ll talk about what your body needs during hormonal transition, how to support your
nervous system, nourish from the inside, and find sustainable habits that don’t require
a personality transplant.
The Invisible Load
From motherhood to menopause, from work deadlines to emotional labour, being a woman often means juggling a mental spreadsheet of everything and everyone. We’ll discuss how stress shows up on your skin, in your body, and what you can do to soften the edges of burnout.

This is for every woman who’s ever Googled her symptoms at 3am. For every woman who’s wondered if she’s the only one feeling this way. For those of us who’ve been sold 12-step skincare routines instead of proper hormonal guidance. And for anyone who simply wants to understand their body better and age with intention.
We’ll share expert insights, personal stories, and practical tools that help, plus a few skincare recs from our team, of course. Join us each month in The Feminine Forum, where we unpack the unspoken realities of womanhood with honesty, science, and solidarity.
Here’s to way less pretending.
